The use of door air curtain installations at entrances in industries, commerce and public institutions is steadily gaining acceptance. An air curtain is a piece of equipment consisting of a number of different components. The interaction between these components produces an adjustable current of air that has the function of separating two thermically differing zones and in so doing revents thermic mixing. With optimally installed air curtains the effect of this is small or no room temperature variations; this reduces dafts and also brings about enery savings.
